KITAKYU JAZZ STREET(北九ジャズストリート)は市民で作る音楽フェス
北九州市の新しい音楽フェスティバルとして市民が中心となりKITAKYU JAZZ STREETを開催し、地元はもとより東アジアを中心に、国内外から広く演奏者、観光客を迎え入れることで、東アジアの多様な人々と文化芸術を通して響き合い、若者の自己表現や音楽活動を発信できるステージの提供及び将来的ビジョンでの北九州市のまちづくり推進と音楽を中心とした芸術及び文化振興、若者の健全育成と地元定着を目指します。

ジャズを中心にロック、ポップ、ゴスペル・・様々なジャンルのアーティストの参加により、子どもから大人まですべての人が楽しむことがで きる空間を提供する（プロ・アマ問わず）
３ 若者が音楽を通して自己表現・音樂活動を発信できる場所の提供
地元アーティストを中心に、広く若者が自己表現・音樂活動 発信できる場を提供することで、将来的にはアジア圏の交流拠点としても魅力を感じられるまちづくりを目指す
４ 国内外へ向けた北九州市の魅力発信
市民が中心となり、国内外に向けて音楽を通して人・食・観光の視点から北九州市の魅力発信と経済効果に寄与する

What is KITAKYU JAZZ STREET ? (KJS)
KITAKYU JAZZ STREET (KJS) is the music festival which we centered and make.
It’s new music festival which we are the center.And it’s not only local but also welcoming east Asia, domestic and overseas musician and tourists for intercultural exchanges.Also, stages for self-expressions, musical activities for young people.Then, we are aiming community development, promotion of culture, youth development, and local settlement for Kitakyushu with futuristic visions.

Jazz is centered, but we welcoming pop, rock, gospel etc.or serving great places for all people (includes professional or amateur)

Place which is young people where they come from domestic, and East Asia, transmit their self-performance, and musical activities.
We are serving place for transmitting musical activities.

We are aiming community development for Kitakyushu which is going to be basepoint for culture exchanges for Asia.
★Transmit for appealing of Kitakyushu
We (citizen) are being centered, and transmitting our appealing Kitakyushu from vision of people, food, sightseeing by though the music. Also, we aim economic effect from this event.
